| judythe - 1/4/2010 09:43 i always called 2009, two thousand nine. no "and" i will call 2010, two thousand ten. again, no "and" i have never heard the last decade called "twenty O the number" the numbered year contains numers not letters, so i would consider that incorrect, myself. maybe it depends on where you are from. i am curious as to what the grammar experts say. I've been hearing national newscasters saying "twenty 0 eight" and the like for some time now. I've always said two thousand nine or what ever.
