I think the trees are your worst problem. Would you have line of sight if you went with an antenna on the 100' leg? If so i would use the best omnidirectional antenna that you could find up there. Be sure to use the Linksys WRT54GL router. The routers without the L are not as good. With the L you can load 3rd party firmware which can be helpful. At house A I would use a 24dbi grid antenna. You could also use it for the closer locations as they aren't that expensive.

Might be possible to put a wireless repeater on the leg and leave the Internet connection in the shop. Don't know how well that would work with that many clients. Look for more help at the link below. I know there is one guy there that is using some type of repeater in a small ISP that he runs.
