we have a really long calving season for freezer beef purposes. so our bull is in for a longer period than most probably... We only pull him April-July 15 typically.
I have a pen in the barn for him for that time. We normally pen him up with a pet steer. keeps him calmer. otherwise he gets a little antsy.
This year my goal is to build a small pasture at a neighbors house to run our replacement heifers in or the bulls in if needed.
What do others do with single bull in non-breeding season
