What is driving the rally in wheat?
There were freezing temperatures at points up the Ohio river from Cairo to the north and south into Kentucky. Just a little risk off buying to see how it shakes out. I’d bet there’s some damage, but I’ve been selling into this rally. Ninety percent of the time widespread freeze scares lead to very localized, like intrafield, damage but overall yields end up good because wheat likes it cool. |
