East Central Arkansas | I had looked at the Hoss at the Sunbelt farms how in Georgia. I liked the idea of having disc openers but really didn't study it good enough. They had a nice large area they were demonstrating their different tools. It was a real sand soil area possibly the type of soil they wanted hauled in. After getting one I discovered those disc openers are not what a farmer that''s been using disc opener planters would think. It''s definitely a loose tilled up soil planter. It does have a somewhat better seed hopper and plate system but that''s got some problems also. I like the Earthway with the xtra seed plate kit for the money. I am sure it''s gone a a good bit since I bought mine. | |
