We have a 1780 that was doing a similar settling of the wings while planting. Tractor was a Dt200a that might be similar to the massy you have not sure but the problem was the cartridges in the remote outlets that was causing the problem spent a lot of time and money trying to figure it out. Was an easy fix once we put it on a different tractor and discovered it was a tractor issue not a planter one. Something about the couplers wear and it bypasses oil allowing it to get out of phase.
