Set two posts temporarily on the ridge somewhat near each other, high enough up the ridge that you can sight across just those two posts each direction and see each end of the run.
Keep adjusting them until they line up both ways. Then they will be straight with both ends, and you can sight all the other posts from each corner to the ridge.
If you set them temporarily in line with one end, and they don't line up with the other end, you have to move both posts sideways a little at a time the same direction until they do. | |
