Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | I did replace my hose, on a 2002 JD8410, set for 38" rows, about 2.5 years ago, about 2 miles away from farmstead. = it took a couple trips to get enough tools and prybars.
I believe, I finally got it loose, with a combination of using a medium to small sized "Ford wrench" (90 degree monkey wrench) AND using a longer prybar, for leverage (prying on small Ford wrench); with it clamped as tightly as I could get it = I didn't have much of a "stroke/arc of rotation", before wrench would bind up against something.
I'm sure, I spend an hour on different combinations, and getting more tools, 2 miles away; BUT I just kept at it, and I finally got it to break loose = I was getting frustrated, that's for sure !
If I remember correctly, my pipe wrenches were all too big and bulky.
Edit: I think I even tapped hose fitting with a small hammer, once I got some "Twisting pressure" on the Ford/Monkey wrench, also.
