About half a mile across the field I have 2 10k bins that I don't hardly use much already. What size wire would I need to run half mile to supply power for 1/3hp pump? I assume solar may be too much cost for an acre as well?

I think the cheapest option will be get a service hooked up. This is as cheap as you're going to find underground wire, it's going to take 3 rolls, at least 2 splices, a box, etc. You'll be into it for at least $3000 I'd guess. That's line power for almost 6 years.
