I prefer not to use an hr or two to determine whether a market jumps. As of right now we are lower than the close yesterday. The oil market didn’t take out Mondays high and looks a lot like it wants to make a new weekly low this morning.
Headlines get traded. But I would need at least a day of price gains before I would classify a market as jumping.
