That main axle tube is probably more like 120 lbs so kind of a bear to get slid into place plus it is top heavy and trying to fall over while lifting into place when laying under the header. Not something I want to do often in a season. Newer headers have an integral transport where that main axle tube stays on the header.


On the plus side you get really good at operating a combine so you get pretty close to where you need to be so you don’t have to man handle that piece very much
