Neighbor gave me a set of aluminum wheels for my jeep, could only find 3 then remembered he used the 4th out in the pasture to set the salt block on...it was not good... glass beaded them and painted them caseIH silver and have been good for 10 years.
I would glass bead those spots ( https://www.harborfreight.com/18-oz-portable-abrasive-blaster-gun-ki...) and paint silver or aluminum.
