nebraska | dko_scOH - 4/17/2024 09:31 Ed Winkle was more like Soil Life than many on here will admit. I remember presenting him with hard data from an on-farm T-22 trial. T-22 was the PivotBio of that time. Well, I found no statistically significant response. From his weak reply, it was obvious he had never conducted a valid test with controls and done the stats. He relied on anecdotal evidence and apparently ignored anything that didn't fit his expectations. I don't know that he ever stopped recommending and selling T-22. That said, he did have some legitimate agronomy in his conversations. You might pick up tidbits of information or catch a different insight from time to time. Plus, he was forthcoming with suggestions in this public forum, was more humble than Soil Life, and certainly more civil than NE Soil Builder. People truly miss Ed. well. I can be civil too as long as people do not start the fire. Look at my first post. I asked what pivot bio cost per acre. How in the world could that be so threatening? When some one insults me, I take issue with that. So there. I will never apologize for the truth. If people were respectful to me, I would be too. And for all these haters, thx for making me have even more confidence that I am winning and you are losing. |
