Subject: Trimble auto steer issues.........

Republic OH (NC OH)
last year installed trimble gfx-350/cih version xcn-750
with nav 900 ez steer and centerpoint. tractor is ih 3688
and 4 rn 7200 planter and 7000 15r 15" bean planter.

yesterday we ran the tractor back and forward on the same a/b line.
using flags under the hitch we hit the flags on the return pass. tractor
is tracking straight. hooked up the planter and it showing 28"-31" spacing.
very acceptable. today we did some more practice planting and the spacing was
24"-38". way off. used same a/b as yesterday.

hooked to bean planter and it was 13"-14". very acceptable. re-ran the hitch passes
w/o any planters and they were spot on. hooked up the planter, checked the hitch passes.
and they were spot on. rechecked spacing and we're back to the 28-31. re-hooked the bean
planter and it was the same as earlier.

this scenario happened last year too. wasn't able to use auto steer on corn but did for beans.

any guesses or help why the inconsistences when using the corn planter while having none with
the bean planter?

sorry for the book!

greatly appreciate any and all help!
