Faunsdale, AL | Depends on what quits working. If it’s steering and brakes, then priority valve malfunction would be high on the list.
I can’t think of a reason to suspect the priority valve leaking if running with the 3 point down makes it work.
First thing I would check is if the 3 point cylinder gets hot before anything else after startup. Then I would check thermal bypass if it has one like some of the old tractors and piston seal. I would be really interested to know what they have been using the 3 point to haul around. Have heard of a valve on a 4320 cracking after the owner started using bale silage. | |
