He just found an engine out of a 8050, and its sitting at my place now. Looks identical, other than having a intercooler, much easier than dealing with the combine engine he had at first.


Yep, bigger rods and wrist pins too.

I wouldn't tie it down hard if he's going to pull it hard on tillage work, the final drives are lighter in the 8030 than an 8050. If it's a planting and haying tractor, should be fine with the extra power
