NC Iowa
my wife sandy passed last week. she was on different oral chemotherapy medication for mesatic melanoma. . tafinlar mekinist (sp) . the cost we were quoted was $62000 a month. maybe no one pays that, but some may have a copay in the 1000's. anyway if not somehow disallowed, i would like to give, donate them to someone who can use them. they were shipped in cold boxes and properly stored. the tight wad farmer cant hardly throw them with out checking.

Dabrafenib
Medication
Dabrafenib, sold under the brand name Tafinlar among others, is an anti-cancer medication used for the treatment of cancers associated with a mutated version of the gene BRAF. Dabrafenib acts as an inhibitor of the associated enzyme B-Raf, which plays a role in the regulation of cell growth. Wikipedia

Advanced and Adjuvant BRAF+ Melanoma
TAFINLAR and MEKINIST are prescription medicines that can be used in combination to treat people with a type of skin cancer called melanoma that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable), and that has a certain type of abnormal "BRAF" (V600E or V600K mutation-positive) gene. TAFINLAR and MEKINIST are prescription medicines that can be used in combination to help prevent melanoma that has a certain type of abnormal "BRAF" gene from coming back after the cancer has been removed by surgery.
