Doesn't matter. If you connect your phone to the vehicle, Google and Apple will have access to the data instead of onstar.
I don't have onstar paid monthly membership with my truck I bought in 2021 but they still email me monthly diagnostic reports. So the data is still going to headquarters even if you're not subscribed. Have to disconnect the antennae
