Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | My nephew purchased a used 24-30" 1770NT one Spring. It arrived from out of state between corn and bean planting. The corn had been planted with a 12-30" 1760 planter pulled by my Deere 8120.
The 8120 didn't have enough SCVs for the 1770NT but my nephew has a 7830 that has enough SCV's. So the 7830 was used with the larger 1770NT to plant the soybeans that year. It handled it quite well in our relatively flat land. This was with conventional tillage.
About that time my love affair with my 4720 sprayer had run out so I traded it toward a Deere 8310R. The 8310R has front duals, ILS and of course more power and weight. It handles the planter with more confidence. |
