NW Iowa | If you get a kick out of seeing lots of combines in action catch 96 at Great Bend and head west. Around the last of June is when the wheat harvest might be in full swing in that area. Catching the full circus when you go through depends on whether the harvest is on time or early or late. If harvest is in full swing you will see more combines than you have ever seen unless you have been there before. If you get tired of it you can swing north and hop on I 70. | |
