I used the big box store 2 part kits on my garage floor of a new house in 1999.  I only applied 1 coat, prob should have done 2 having the floor already clean.  It held up well for 10 years or more.  The heat of hot car tires weakens the adhesion somehow  and it started flaking up in those areas.  I cleaned and put on a 2nd coat years ago.  It sealed over the bad spots, but the spots are flaking again.  95+% of the floor is good and easy to clean and walk on.  So for only $250 a crack I got what I wanted.   Yes, it resist salt, grease, ect.
