The stuff in state of union address was goofy, it will end up raising starter home prices. Renters will pay more too probably. A decent idea would be some kind of tax break for builders building starter homes. Although, I have noticed people will buy the most expensive house and max out their monthly payments, so not many people want a starter house anyways.
Trust me. Builders of starter homes practically have a license to print money. You don't need to give them handouts, let us import labor, that's what we need. |
