| My goal would be get some legumes growing to supply the N so you do not have to buy it. Add lime if you need it, here it seems when the soil test calls for 2 ton if you put on less then 3 it just maintains to raise it you need to over apply, should be at least a year ahead of seeding if possible. I like about 2 # Ladino clover in the mix and also Alfalfa if the ph is close to what it needs and for round bales 4 # timothy, if small squares you can add less timothy. | |
