West Central IA | Wife and I had the discussion of the lead up to the disaster that was the 80's the other day. All the loans that were made in the 70's right up until the farm economy were good loans until they weren't. Same will be today. When this thing turns it will be uglier than the 80's were because the numbers today all have another 0 behind them. It takes nearly 80 acres of good land to buy a new combine. It may not be land that takes guys down, but payments on pretty things may. | |
