Pipe laying across the high end of the field or “crown” of the field. Usually plastic that is rolled out and picked up to be recycled every year.
The beds are sometimes knocked down to be rebuilt or sometimes they are just reconditioned and the furrows cleaned back out. Depends on what is going there the next season and how the previous fall harvest went usually.
