Subject: Seems like a house of Cards

The more you look into this.. "Someone from the government scores your Carbon Intensity."  So the Government is weighing in on no till vs tillage.. not just the coffee shop.. lovely.

"Land Use penalty."  Like it's our fault what's happening in South America.. which would have.. and has been assisted by others.. the Chinese for example.. no matter what we would have done.  South America is sovereign.. if they want to farm.. pretty much their business.. why punish us?

If it doesn't make economic sense.. why force it?

How is a Coop going to function with multiple CI scores.. when some of them can't track the bushels they may or may not have now.. shrink debate.. then add this complexity on top of it.. this field qualifies.. the next 6 trucks do not.. then 3 do.. then not..  does it have to be separated? Audited.. What happens with an error.. etc.

The whole scheme sounds like a joke.  Who gets to decide whom us farming "smartly?"
