Qulin, MO | I would suggest looking for a spot closer to Jackson if you are coming down I-55 or alternatively you could come down Hwy 67 towards Poplar Bluff. Those are the 2 bigger town on the centerline. Cape Girardeau will probably have a lot of viewing areas around it. My church on the north side of Poplar Bluff is a designated viewing area.
I’d say give yourself plenty of time coming from Columbia cause the roads will probably be pretty full coming south that day. They are telling us to make sure we have all our grocery shopping and errands done before the weekend.
Since you are already driving that morning you’ll be able to watch the weather and make a direction change depending on the forecast. | |
