EC SD | If you like bitcoin, then use the new ETFs instead of MSTR stock. There is no way to predict what the MSTR company will do, nor what their creditors may force them to do if bitcoin crashes back to earth before heading to the moon. MSTR has trailed bitcoin for the last few years (see chart below). Right now MSTR is very high, and has even gained on bitcoin itself, so it is a great time to make the move to the ETFs.
If you like bitcoin because of the freedom it gives from governments, banks, wall street companies, etc. then you need to take self-custody of the bitcoins. This is like buying physical gold instead of a gold ETF like GLD...
So make as many cold wallets (HSM or paper) as you like, put your bitcoin investments inside, and then safeguard them like you would physical gold. This is the only way you can survive the collapse of any bank, wall street firm, etc. without losing your bitcoins...
