NEMO | Beans on beans is nothing new in Missouri while it seems taboo in other places. Use a different bean variety than the year before and plenty of potash.
Seems like half the time beans behind beans out yields beans behind corn. I've wondered if it was corn chemical carryover or if the bean stubble is more fit during spring planting so may be a few days ahead or planted into better conditions.
I know of some bottom ground beans fields (not mine) that have never seen corn for as long as I can remember. Before ethanol lots of Missouri was on the bean on bean on bean on bean rotation.
