Texas Panhandle | We use the Elaine Ingham method but there are others that work fine also. We try to build a fungal dominant pile. Use any method of extraction but I have an Aeromaster extractor.
For small grains in the drill, we just run a nozzle in the auger of our seed tender and we are experimenting with trying to add some worm compost (fine stuff) to the seed also.
For the planter, we run a mix of extract, fish hydrolosate, and humic thru the starter system and it lays on the seed in furrow.
In our poor soils, this has produced just as good of results as a conventional starter mix.
