Becks was one of the first companies to go to 130k per bag. They started recommending that 130k was what we should be planting per acre. And would also make it easier on how many bags to order. Have a 1000 acres of beans, order 1000 bags, instead of the old way when you had to guess how many bags to order if you didn’t know the seed size. They was very upfront about it when they went the 130k unit bags.
Our farm has planted Becks since the 1980s, also plant some other companies products to keep everyone honest. If Becks is as bad as most everyone on agtalks says, they sure wouldn’t be growing like they are.

130k is over planting for a lot of ground and under planting on some. To claim that as being the reason is kind of stupid, IMO.

Is their bean seed priced accordingly for the small units?

Should be about 93% of the price of a 140k unit.
