Subject: RE: Drainage culvert for small area

Western Oregon
I have a 2" PVC pipe across a driveway near a gate that I use frequently. It is about 4" deep. It is there because of a seep, it runs most all winter. If it doesn't rain for 2 weeks it stops. Up hill from it there is usually a gopher mound that turns into a spring in the winter. I monitor it constantly to make sure it isn't plugging but it works well. Very little fall and not much drop to the outlet, maybe 5" of fall in 30'. Daylights then pretty flat for the 24' of pipe to a small sump hole upstream....James
