30 years ago we had the opportunity to visit Mason Dixie Farms in Gettysburg, Pa. Horace Waybright was our host and he told about his grandparents telling about watching the Union troops marching by on their way to battle from their front porch. No doubt they farm land that was part of a battlefield.
Civil War fought where farmland is now.
