NWMO | It’ll be interesting what everything looks like in 30-60 days. We’re definitely dry here, but it can change fast for sure. In June ‘21 we had a rain come through that dumped 11” of rain in one night. Yes, it actually rained 11” in a 12 hour period. That turned into a disaster real quick.
As for planting into the dust statement, I think it’s half true. Old timers made that statement back when drainage was trash and their equipment couldn’t handle the moist conditions so damp soil often created issues. I’m not 100% sold that the statement holds true today. Let’s all check back in on June 1 to see how we feel then
