Difficult birth
Tired female that rests or cannot rise due to bruised nerves that make hind legs not work properly.
And continued straining/pushes that expel uterus or maybe it is relaxation from resting but standing after birth stops this .
Did your calves survive? Mine usually didn't. Severe dystocia.
(In my experience, usually on a extra cold night, as far from corrals as possible.)
