SW OH | I have a few cows that are big pets and come to me when I get near them wanting to be scratched. Until the calf hits the ground and then they will come after me with the intent to kill. After a month or 2 their hormones return to normal and if I can catch their calf, they don't care. Just scratch me right here, no a little too the left, yeah that's it. I think being with other cows and interacting with them helps.
