| How long were you in it? I honestly don't know how long one was needed until I transitioned to a walker. All I knew and could see is that I would be divorcing both of them no matter what. And I did.
Met a kind man today who told a story of how his wife also found herself in a wheelchair after an unexpected health scare. She was given a ten percent chance to live. She was determined to not accept being in a wheelchair for the rest of her life should she make it out of the hospital alive. Less than a week later she was at church instead of a bed and she too divorced the wheelchair for good.
I fully realize not everyone can just overcome the inability to walk with mental strength. A lot of people were praying for me. I wanted to share another story on this subject but dont have permission to do so.
