| We all get together and burn something about every year. This chunk hasn't been burned in 35 plus years. The cedars are becoming an issue. We are west of the Flint Hills that burn annually. More cow/calf operators in our area makes burning a little more risky with several neighbors calving on winter grass. IMO more burning needs to happen to control trees and brush but manpower and opportunity is limited. The local school system was short several boys in class yesterday getting on the job training... | |
