Bringing land cost down to a level of our competition? getting our machinery cost to that same level
Brazil averages about 4K per acre on land that can produce 2 or 3 crops a year - Ukraine and Russia far less than that. even Australia runs about 2900 per acre
Average land cost is not what can be purchased down there today in many situations. A large parcel down there (3000 HA)was listed for the equivalent of 10-15k per acre this past season in Matto Grosso. I didn’t take that as a bargain. I wasn’t looking to purchase anything either just found it interesting what our competitors land costs were.
