So are "the people willing to do what it takes" the input suppliers that stick it to the farmer every time he becomes profitable? Or maybe the machinery suppliers that stick it to the farmer every time he becomes profitable? Or maybe USDA getting the numbers right before reporting or just not reporting at all?
I don’t dispute the fact that input, suppliers and machinery people make more money when farmers make more money. I do, however, think that every farm has fat that could be cut to make it more profitable. |
