I’m considering a shipping container for “stuff” storage. Have a farm built from scratch on a blank slate field, so I don’t have any small sheds or old hog house or chicken coop for random small thinks to keep out of my shop or machine shed.

Is there any downfall I’m not thinking of to a shipping container? Can I just set it on gravel?
Has anyone gotten one that was supposed to be weather tight and it wasn’t at all?

I’ve got a row of bins I thought about putting it behind and having it painted bin color next time the bin painters come through the neighborhood.

Bought this in fall. Plan to put it against the shop in spring after making a gravel pad. Wanted the 4 doors so we could access stuff easier.
