Nw Iowa | We live on a lake so neighbors are close but county has 500’ lakefront requirements so nobody on top of one another. Neighbor to the north , heck of a nice guy, about as good of neighbor as anybody could ask for. We watch each other’s places when we are gone, he even helps us some in the fall. Neighbors to the south very demanding, come over and ask for malts, want us to spend time with them, sometimes even ask to stay overnight. But they use magic words, like “ grandpa, would you play with me.” Or “ grandpa, I love you”. So they are pretty good neighbors too! | |
