This is an important point since ESG wants to say Brazilian ethanol has a lower Carbon Score.. somehow.

You can source US ethanol out of the gulf right now for $518.03 and ship it to Santos Brazil net $565.02 ish. Whereas Santos FOB values are.. currently $87/ton higher around $647 ish.
Granted the Safrina crop post harvest may shrink that gap a little.. but.. it’s pretty big and the US has enough corn in hand to compete.
