About ten miles away from where I live there is a half section farm lined with concrete posts. The posts have been there for as long as my 73 years and are still standing straight except for a few that were dinged by machinery. I have never paid attention to how the wire is fastened to the post.
The ones I’ve seen here had notches where the wire was tied to keep it from slipping down. |
