Subject: Drylot on small pasture

NCKS
I have a small 80 head feedlot connected to a 50 acre pasture here. The usual stocking rate would probably be 7-8 acres per pair. I wouldn't mind feeding pairs for 5 months over the summer until stalks open up if it is feasible and makes money. We can produce forage fairly cheaply and would have plenty of stalks and triticale pasture close. How many pairs could I put in my pasture and feed in my bunk-line without ruining the grass in the bulk of the pasture? I know there will be degradation around the feedlot, but for the most part that's already happened.
