Central Missouri | When i get time i will post a couple of points i made and a market exercise that if people take the time to do it will help them see things more clearly. There were a couple of agtalkers there. They may want to chime in as to if they thought it was time well spent.
For an exercise to do before i take the time in the next couple of weeks to make a post do this……
Look at the old era of price from 72-87 in corn. Draw a 50% line through the corn chart horizontally from the highs to lows. Zero line at 1.60 100% line at 4.00 roughly.
Draw a 75% line
How many years in the first half of the era did price go above 50%? 72-88
How many years in the second half did it go above 75%? 89-07
What do you learn from that?
Now do that on our current era of price 2008 - 2042
We are entering the second half of this price era, what do you expect as far as how many years we trade above 50% and 75%? What else can you deduce if this era is similiar to the last one?
