If there is enough justification to consider buying an option, then just enter a contract. Buying options is a fool's game.
If you hold them perhaps…….but low implied vol can make them a better risk reward then futures
OVERALL I agree that it is much better to use futures versus buying options….as I think one should sell options more then buy them…….
But I dont agree that it is 100% of the time better to use futures instead of options…….
