Why is your corn so light?
Well, I screwed up with cover crop management, switching fertilizer retailer, and a dry spring. Although I planted first week or two in May, my corn didn’t germinate until the second week in June, and was unable to finish before frost, except my 100 day corn that I plant to get my cows out on stalks early. It’s no fun harvesting 50# TW corn at 25% in late November ‘here.’
