Interest Expenses on Farmland Debt Could Challenge Farm Profitability - Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City (kansascityfed.org)I haven't read it yet but a quick scan indicates that loans at commercial banks (not Farm Credit) typically won't fix rates for the entire length of loan therefore they need to be repriced periodically.
Doesn't sound good if this is true.
