Im shooting for 50lbs silage, 10-15lbs hay, 3 lbs distillers.

Family has been doing that last couple years and it’s going well.

Currently CRP hay at 60-70lbs and 5-10lbs corn DDGs. Just not quite enough goodies for a nursing fall calver. I’m right on the edge but I don’t like it.

Silage distillers through a schuler box and hay either set off or unrolled.

Your getting your cows to eat 80 pounds of dry matter?
